I host various intentional gatherings to build connection and community with other artists – often centering around being in nature and at times specific to various identities such as being Queer, Trans, and / or Neurodivergent. The gatherings themselves are built around the following community guidelines.
Community has always been important to me, especially as someone who grew up without seeing myself represented. As I’ve gotten older and worked on decolonizing my understanding of the world, I’ve learned the importance of community and community care. The people we surround ourselves with can vastly change how we believe in and care for ourselves, how we heal and process things, as well as our connection to the world around us.
As an adult I still struggle to find community spaces that feel safer for me to exist within, where I see others like me represented, and that hold values and ethics that align with mine. I began to realize that if I wanted certain spaces to exist I would have to create them, and so the “community builder” within me came to the forefront.
Although I am not a social butterfly or extrovert and although I have limited energy to give (being neurodivergent / chronically ill / disabled) I’ve set out to (when I can) host community gatherings and events where people and voices that have historically been underrepresented can find spaces of community, especially including nature and art, while feeling comfortable to show up as they are.

Current Gatherings:
✨ Queer Nature Create & Connect
Community connect for Queer + Trans artists to create in community, inspired by and often within nature. Come together in nature, connect to the land and one another, while discussing art with other 2SLGBTQIA+ artists! If you like to create things, you are an artist! This event is not limited to professional artists. This is a community space built around anti-oppression and decolonizing how we relate to one another. Built to center and create safer space for those living with marginalized identities.
