Painting has been more than an art form but a recluse for relaxation, a way to move through my emotions or simply to connect to the present moment and release the stresses I may be holding. I’ve been painting since I was a kid but am only more recently giving it the time and love it deserves.
I primarily love to work within water colour, acrylic, and gouache, often giving focus to purples, blues, greens, and pinks. I enjoy mixed medias and playing with texture within painting. I am still exploring the mediums that I enjoy most and have also worked with alcohol inks and oils.

In 2025 I started a Postcards To Strangers project serendipitously when creating painted postcards in nature. I wrote musings about life on the back and well wishes for the receiver. I decided to offer one from my current collection to people who’ve positively impacted my day. It began as something I did to release pressure off myself of painting with something in mind or an end result to obtain. It grew into something I do to spread kindness to strangers. I dub myself the art fairy of “Vancouver”. This practice transformed the way I approach painting and the art I create through painting.
